The “Giro d’Italia in 80 Bookshops” starts by pedalling along the Alpe Adria cycle route and stops in Tarvisio, Venzone, Gemona del Friuli, Udine, Grado (from 29 to 31 May), as well as in Cormons (Gorizia) and Cordenons (Pordenone) (on 4 and 5 June).
From Friuli Venezia Giulia to Apulia, the world revolves around words: we have the world of books ride a bike and we roll throughout Italy to tell stories, read books out loud to rediscover authors and meet readers. The “Giro d’Italia in 80 Bookshops” is a slow and relentless trip through a reading Italy, an example of sustainability, a showcase of creativity. A relay race, a stage race with arrivals and departures at Bookshops, libraries, squares and schools. Events, meetings, games and readings.
