The Schwarzbach flows from a karst cave below the Hoher Göll.
Immediately  after leaving the cave, the water hurtles over a steep rock face into a small  basin, then plunges over the 40 meters-high main fall into a natural basin  spanning some 1500 square meters.

The total drop is 72 meters. Due to its course through the subterranean channels of the Hoher Göll, the water is gradually filtered into crystal-clear karst water.
Opening season:
May to October daily
