Museum für Volkskultur

During your tour, you will be able to visit ca. 20,000 exhibits, all of which are donations from people living in the region of Upper Carinthia.
The individual themes provide a colorful picture of the wide spectrum of folk culture, and are thus a true expression of the way of life in a natural setting distinguished exclusively by its high-alpine character. The objects serve as 3-dimensional testaments to the skills, work and lives, as well as the spiritual mindset of the people in our region. Various themes of folk culture are actively presented to the visitor in visually appealing ways. During your tour, we hope to inspire you with our aesthetics, entertainment value, and information!
