8. Stage
The last stage begins with numerous natural moments and sights in Bischofshofen. It leads us to a picturesque narrow canyon and a the medieval Hohenwerfen castle situated between the mountains of Tennen and Hagengebirge.
Next we cycle past the Salzachofen, the point where the Salzach slices impressively through the rocks of the Tennengebirge massif. After a short downhill, there is the old Celtic city of Hallein, and the fresh water of the Golling Waterfall and beautiful Bluntautal Valley.
The next stage is along the River Salzach, past numerous natural monuments, high rock faces and impressive gorges. It will take us to Mozartplatz square, the heart of Salzburg’s beautiful Old City. Southwards you can see the mountains of Salburg’s Limestone Alps.
And our tour ends in the middle of this magical Old City, the city of Mozart.
